GRAVITY
Live Audio Visual Performance
Dimensions: Variable, 45 Feet High Pictured, HD
Gravity is a live multidisciplinary audio visual performance created for TEDxUCLA .
‘Fur Alina’ composed by Arvo Pärt is played on the grand piano by Sue Zhou-Walsh and is recorded and manipulated in real-time to provide electronic sound accompaniment by Eric Parren. Both piano and electronic sound is listened too by custom software and is manipulated live to create screen based and projection mapped visuals on the stage proscenium.
The visuals were designed to integrate seamlessly with the sound and react to the changes in live performance.
Visuals were made in collaboration with:
Eric Fanghanel
Jack Turpin
Will Wharton
